Blocker Boys On the Go!

     Today I had a very productive day!  It all started when the pesky alarm went off.  Some days I just hate the alarm.  The alarm will never be my friend! Anyway hubby got up and off to work on time so it all worked out.  I smashed snooze a few times, and then I got up to workout!

     Work out complete, I fed the boys a good breakfast, and sent out some text.  A time was confirmed for our rendezvous with sister-in-law, and the niece. Quick shower, and I got the boys dressed in their special clothes for the meet up.  <---- Loving the suspense right there I know.  I have to make sure you read to the bottom.  Load every one into the van with the needed accessories, and we hit the road.

     After driving about an hour to our secret location we had to wake up K2 since the little guy napped all the way there.  There was also a little clothing tweaking to do.  I did not fully dress K2 because I did not want to have drool all over his outfit.  So we arrived , and waited on sister-in-law and niece to join us.

     Our super secret destination?  Visiting Santa at the Yankee Candle flagship store.  To my surprise K1 walked right up, and asked to sit in his lap.  Although he does not know you ask Santa for presents he had a good time.  K2 is right in the middle of that mommy attachment phase.  He was not in love with the idea of talking to a stranger, but he got over it and we have some good pictures.  Little miss princess my niece was another story.  She decided she would have nothing to so with Santa.  So we gave up, and were picking up the boy when she decided it was her turn.  So she jumped up in Santa's lap with K1 and we got a few more pictures.  We had planned to get the 3 of them, but at least we got some good pictures.

So we rounded up the kiddos, and headed to the door to go get something to eat.  On the way out there is a large snowman with a bench.  Trying for one more photo op with out the stranger Santa we piled the kids on the bench.  K2 was not letting go of his bottle so it is in all the pictures with the snowman.  Still there were a few good shots taken.

     We had a fun lunch at Olive Garden which was full of old people.  All the grandmas in the restaurant had a good time watching the kids.  I managed to eat pretty well, and only had the salad with vegetable soup, and half of sister-in-law's grilled chicken sandwhich.

     Then we split ways, and the boys and I headed to a friend's house so she could sample Shakeology! We tried the Chocolate Shakeology with mint extract.  I love that one and think it taste like Girl Scout Thin Mints.  If you are new to my health and fitness journey check out these post.

     So I am sitting here on the floor playing with the little guy before he gets his last bottle of the night. Then it is off to get ready for date night! I finally got him down to sleep after he fought it the whole way.
     Out the door and off to Red Lobster!! We were going to go to a movie, but there is nothing out at a theater near us that seemed appealing.  As soon as we left it started raining, but no big deal.   We got over to the  restaurant, and there is no parking.  Guess what we forgot the dinner crowd on Friday nights last longer then during the week.  So I jumped out of the car to get our names on the list as we were anticipating a long wait.  Surprise no wait for the smoking section, and we are in luck no baby.  So we walked right in and sat down.  Next awesome moment! They are serving endless shrimp plates!! It was definitely relaxing to go out, and not worry about if we would need another bottle or a new diaper.
     Overall it was a great time out with just the hubby.  My bro was cool to sit at home, and just play video games while listening for the kidlet.  Gotta love that the kid has gone to this 12 hour sleeping pattern.  Really it is about 11 hours 30 min, but who is counting!! I really just hope the diaper makes it most nights.  On a rare occasion there is a little leak, but nothing major. 
     I sent the link to the new blog out to the family and friends for a review before I start releasing post.  I think it will all go really well as long as I can get enough traffic.    That just about wraps up the day!!!

     Today was spent doing some blog world research.  Along with the polling of some good friends on what my main blog should be about.  All that along with balancing a grouchy, teething, 5 month old kidlet.  Some where in the midst I made dinner, and found some leftovers for my lunch.  The entire time chasing two cats from under my feet due to our new found fly invaders.  Since the air conditioner broke the other day we are stuck with the windows open and fans blowing in.
     The evening is filled with stuff.  Hubby came home from a rough work day.  Next the landlord comes to look at the AC.  Now to clean up dinner, finish the nightly television show chosen on netflix.  On to a little more blogging research.  I want to thank all of you that took time to view the blog, and maybe click some links.  The incoming revenue has increase significantly.  Just in the few days I have been at it all i can see a difference.
     This blog is really turning out to be a lot of fun.  No as long as I can keep the one I am planning fun then it is game on.  Well off for a little WOW with the hubby and brother before bed.  Later readers!! Thanks again

     Well my little man is officially getting that first tooth.  Poor little guy! I can see the opening in the gum now.  He appears miserable, and can only get a little sleep at a time basically when the tylenol wears off he is screaming.  The good news is freezing one end of a washcloth for him to chew on is working way better than the teething rings we have.  Thanks Great Aunt Helen for the washcloth tip.
     Of course since the wee one is up every couple of hours I am too.  Oh the joys!! Dear old dad of course barely flinches when I get out of bed to check on the little man.  Sometimes I just want to poke him every time I get up.  However he does go to work every day, and I stay home so I can sneak a nap in if needed.  I do on occasion curl up right next to him all cold when I get back in bed.
     So I am still procrastinating on filing my Montgomery GI Bill papers.  I would like to go back to school, but there is no one around where we are currently stationed that I would let watch the baby.  That seems to be the only problem with small commands.  Not only is there no base to go shopping at, but there is not that instant friendship of the other military wives.  So in general I guess I am ready to move back to Virginia already.
    Guess who is up from his morning nap!!! More later nice talking to you all!!
